Modern Apprenticeship Programme Graduation 2018

1st June 2018

On Thursday 24th May 2018 CalaChem held a celebration evening at Airth Castle for the graduation of our apprentices, Rory Braid, Jack Duffy and Sean McManus.

Our apprenticeship programme is something that we are extremely passionate about, we are focussed on the younger people in our community and are very proud that we can offer apprenticeships to help shape these peoples’ careers.

As we have various members of staff and two members of Senior Management who started off as apprentices we understand the hard work and determination that goes in to completing the programme. We wanted to congratulate the boys their achievements by hosting a graduation evening for them and their families.

The evening was a great success, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all and it was clear to see how proud the parents were. Pre-dinner speeches reflected on the success of the programme and the career opportunities afforded by completing an apprenticeship at CalaChem. After dinner a final speech saw our apprentices being offered full time contracts with CalaChem. We work with our apprentices over a four-year period giving them a vast array of experience across our manufacturing plants. We feel this level of exposure, knowledge and experience is invaluable and we want to keep that talent with us.

Everyone at CalaChem would like to say well done to Rory, Jack and Sean on competing their apprenticeship and securing full time employment.
