In 2017 cancer charity Maggie’s opened a new centre at Forth Valley Hospital just seven miles from our site.
Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends and, because they are situated within NHS hospital sites, also have professional NHS staff on hand to offer the medical support people need.
When we heard about this centre opening our, Managing Director Neil Partlett put together a fundraising team who would be responsible for planning and co-ordinating events throughout the year to raise money for Maggie’s. The team is now established and we have had some successful fundraising events on site including a cake sale and car wash.
