Grangemouth Community Care, is a local charity which looks after the welfare of the elderly people in the Grangemouth community and offers a means of social interaction for those who live alone and don’t have family in the area.
The group meets for lunch every Tuesday and Thursday at Talbot House in Grangemouth. Giving members a chance to catch up and benefit from a warm meal, chat and friendly faces. Free transport is provided for the members to the meet-ups and there are also organised events and outings throughout the year.
The charity is run on a voluntary basis by one of the members and relies on public donations to keep operating. We believe the charity makes a real positive difference to its members, it’s a true lifeline for some, and for that reason we have pledged an annual donation towards its continued good work in the community.
