The CalaChem commercial team attended ChemSpec 2019 in an extremely hot and humid Basel, Switzerland. Whilst the heatwave was in full effect, the team were cool, calm and collected during a very busy two days, having plenty of meetings to discuss current projects and campaigns with customers as well as promoting the contract manufacturing services. There was much interest in our abilities of being a top tier COMAH site as well as our diverse range of assets and chemistries.
ChemSpec continues to be a very popular European event for the chemical industry and saw a variety of nationalities, companies and exhibitors present.
The team attended talks discussing the current and future market situations of crop protection and fine chemical products. The speakers were very insightful and it was useful to keep up-to-date with the latest analysis.
A special thanks must go to the CIA and DIT who organised a very professional platform for the chemical companies of the UK to work from. It made the whole event very stress-free and we applaud their efforts.
